You Check ABCs For Your Patients.

Who Checks Yours?

The
 6-Minute
Nurse Reset

The full reset is six minutes. The minimum effective dose is one to two minutes. Even one minute of targeted regulation can shift your stress response mid-shift.

Six minutes is the ceiling, not the floor.

Works on shift. Off shift. Or when you're home and everything you saw today came with you.

The 6-Minute
Nurse Reset

THIS IS NOT YOGA. IT'S NOT MEDITATION.

It is not another wellness suggestion from someone who has never worked a unit.

It is a clinical-grade reset built for what nursing actually does to your nervous system.

Here's What Nobody Taught You In Clinical:

STRESS IS CONTAGIOUS

Your nervous system is not just drained.

It's loaded — with other people's pain, panic, and fear.

The nurse next to you already feels it.

Your patients feel it too.

This is not a metaphor. *Regulated nurses produce measurably calmer units.

QUICK RELIEF ON SHIFT

A few minutes in a break room, at the desk before or after charting. Enough to interrupt the spiral before it follows you into the next room. You walk back in carrying less of what just happened.

RECOVERY BETWEEN SHIFTS

You drive home. And for the first time in a while, the shift stays at the hospital. Your chest isn't still running the code at 7pm. Your family gets the version of you that actually came home.

A METHOD YOU ACTUALLY USE

No mat. No quiet room. No chunk of time you don't have. Designed for the shift you're actually having. You use it because it fits. And because it works when it's loud and short-staffed.

Used by nurses across hospital, ICU, ER, oncology, and community care settings.

Here’s What Most Nurses Don’t Talk About

If this sounds familiar

✔︎ It's the patient you couldn't save — and still think about.

✔︎ The failed resuscitation you ran perfectly, and it still wasn't enough.

✔︎ The family you had to tell.

✔︎ The conversation you've replayed so many times it's worn grooves.

"Oh my God, I'm so glad that shift is over."

"I have nothing left."

"I can't do another day like this."

✔︎ You've said one of those sentences. Maybe all of them. Maybe this week.

✔︎The apps and classes say "find a quiet space" -- your break room has overhead announcements and someone else's lunch in the microwave

The 6-Minute Nurse Reset™ gives your body what your workplace never will:

A clear, consistent off switch you can use anytime.

I’m Annette Tersigni, RN — Founder of YogaNurse®

I became a nurse at 51, after years of caregiving that didn't come with a badge or a break room — caring for my son, who has severe autism and cerebral palsy.

That taught me something clinical training never covers: you cannot think your way out of your body's stress response. When it's loaded, it stays loaded until you give it a specific reason to release.

I became a yoga teacher first, then a nurse. The combination showed me a gap nobody was filling — nurses had no practical, evidence-informed method to recover from what their shifts actually do to their nervous systems.

So I built one.

Annette Tersigni, RN — Founder of YogaNurse®, teaching evidence-informed stress recovery to nurses since 2006.

You Were Trained to Handle Everything.

Except this.

You were trained to assess and treat everyone else's pain.

Nobody trained you to process your own.

And nobody told you that unprocessed stress doesn't just hurt you. It spreads. Into your next patient. Into your drive home. Into the version of you that walks through your front door after a 12-hour shift.

You already have PPE for biological exposure. You suit up for it every shift without thinking.

But emotional contagion has no PPE —

Not in nursing school. Not in orientation. Not anywhere in your training.

That's not an oversight. That's a gap that has been costing nurses for decades.

THE NURSING BOARD TOLD HER NO

Annette Tersigni has been a registered nurse since 2002. In 2006, when she first brought a formal nurse self-care program to her state nursing board for CEU approval, they told her it was too focused on helping nurses. CEUs needed to be about patient care, not nurse wellbeing.

She pushed back. Told them it was both. That nurses were patients too. They approved it.

That was 20 years ago, before any major nursing organization had a nurse self-care program. She didn't follow the trend.

She created the conditions for it. What she built has since been used by more than 3,000 nurses worldwide.

What she built is also nothing like what you've already tried.

  Evidence-informed stress relief science

  Real nursing experience

  Simple therapeutic practices

A repeatable reset protocol that builds your nervous system's capacity to stay regulated under exposure.

Here's Why Nothing Has Worked

1. Wellness apps (Calm, Headspace, etc.) - Built for people who have ten quiet minutes and a nervous system that isn't already in crisis response. Useless mid-shift. Useless in a break room with overhead announcements.

2. General meditation - Requires the ability to sit still and focus. When you've just run a code or delivered a death notification, your nervous system isn't capable of that. It's not a discipline problem. It's a physiology problem.

3. Yoga and movement classes - Require a mat, a class time, clothes you don't have at work, and thirty to sixty minutes you don't have between patients.

4. Just pushing through - The default. Works until it doesn't. The compounding effect of unprocessed stress is what creates the nurse who cries in the car, snaps at her family, or stops feeling anything at all.

Finally Annette Tersigni RN, created a protocol that works. Tested by more than 3000 nurses worldwide.

Here's a system that works fast

  • Your stress response fires in seconds. A code. A patient who didn't make it. A family conversation that went sideways.
  • Your nervous system responded to all of it in moments.
  • The reset works the same way.
  • Targeted breath and movement can downregulate your stress response in minutes — not hours, not a full yoga class.
  • That's the signal most nurses never send. Not because they don't have time. Because nobody ever taught them how.

Introducing

The 6-Minute Nurse Reset

Two minutes of breath reset between patients.

One minute of movement release at the nurses station.

The full six-minute sequence when you have it. You use what fits the shift you're actually having.

 Step 1:

Breath Reset

A specific breath sequence that interrupts the stress cycle while you're still in it.

Not deep breathing. Not box breathing. Not anything that requires a quiet room.

The alarm in your chest quiets before you walk back through that door.

Step 2:

Movement Release

Chair-based movements that undo the neck tension from leaning over beds, the shoulder load from transfers, the physical cost of twelve hours on a unit.

No performance. Just your body, a chair.

Something releases that you didn't even know you were still holding.

Step 3:

Recovery Rest

A short guided practice that tells your nervous system the emergency is over.

This practice sends the signal.

The shift stays at work. You get to go home.

Each step works on its own. Two minutes of breath reset between patients. One minute of movement release at the nurses station. The full six-minute sequence when you have it. You use what fits the shift you're actually having.

Use It When You Need It Most

Mid-shift, when the floor is chaos.
Between patients, when you can feel yourself starting to fray.
In your car before you walk through your front door.

At the end of a shift that broke your heart a little...or a lot.

Before you walk onto a unit where the stress is already circulating — so you carry calm energy.
